Feeling Down? Wanna Feel Better ASAP? Five Ways to Feel Good Fast.

Being my own boss, I can't afford to come into work feeling funky! I know I need to make decisions from that feel goodspace if I want my future to stay bright and joyous and secure!
But let's face it, life is challenging! Even if you aren't going through a major transition which seems to happen more and more frequently in this fast moving century, there are plenty of circumstances and people who can bring you down. No one is invincible, but successful people have learned to have a little arsenal of feel good strategies they use to uplevel. Here are a few of my favorites:
The quickest pick me up is music. I even created a list of songs called All Attitude which I published on iTunes. By the time I'm even a few songs into it, my attitude has shifted. A few of my favorites on the list are "Hold On" and "I Believe I Can Fly" by Patti LaBelle, "Let Your Soul be Your Pilot" by Sting, Barbra Streisands, "Don't Rain on My Parade" and "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina.
Don't just walk your dog. Make it a gratitude walk. Notice all the beauty and abundance you can find in your neighborhood or at a local park. No dog? Take a walk anyway! Your body will love you for it. To inspire means to breathe new life into and when you breathe new life into your body you will feel more inspired!
Turn the TV off unless you have something funny to watch. Laughter is still the best medicine. Watching a movie that puts it all in perspective is great too. The Pursuit of Happiness or Sliding Doors are the kinds of movies that can be really thought provoking.
Another great movie is "Defending Your Life" with Albert Brooks and Meryll Streep.
Truly, one of the funniest scenes is where the executive director of Judgment City explains what a small portion of their brains human beings actually use!
Educator Paul Scheele of Learning Strategies says that our other-than-conscious is 10 billion times more powerful than the conscious part where all that stuff that came before is stored and analyzed. When we only rely on what has come before to direct our choices for the future we limit ourselves to a very narrow spectrum of possibilities.
You'll find that some of the most inspiring ideas, just right for you, come from within when you allow yourself the quiet time to receive the answers you seek.
My fifth remedy is a little high tech but well worth the effort. Using Powerpoint, Keynote or whatever program you feel comfortable with, create a little audio visual presentation that combines your intentions with images that demonstrate possibilities for those intentions. Adding music will make it all the more motivating and inspirational.
